And since one of my other <em>favorite things<\/em> happens to be setting a beautiful table I figured we&#8217;d put the two together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So today we&#8217;re doing one (of two!) Bridgerton style tablescapes&#8230; this one is a soft green and pink styled table in the Featherington colors. class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Pick a Starting Point<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to any table I like to pick a focal point to work around&#8230; this way everything can relate back (or match) that first piece. In this case we have two pieces. We started with the classic blue china&#8230; it&#8217;s a gorgeous pattern I borrowed from my Mama and it works perfectly for the time period. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the real showstopper are the Bridgerton Bee&#8217;s which I used in a few ways. They&#8217;re napkin rings so of course I used them on my pretty sage green velvet napkins (which are very fancy. very Bridgerton. very regency!) but I also used them to dress up my plain white taper candlesticks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Look how cute!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I kind of want to add new and custom napkin rings to all of my candlesticks now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love both the napkin rings and the china but they don&#8217;t exactly scream &#8220;we belong on the same table&#8221; so the goal with the next few pieces was to marry the two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Add in Matching Pieces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since we&#8217;re trying to marry a silver, white and blue based china with a champagne and pearl napkin ring we needed to decide which way to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Silver? Gold? Champagne?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luckily champagne can lend itself well to mixing with other metals (unlike silver and gold which take a bit more creativity to match) so we started by adding more silver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Silver flatware and a silver charger allow the china to standout and show-off. Our little bee will go around the napkins after all&#8230; they&#8217;ll read as one item once they&#8217;re put together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I played around with a few different ideas but at the end of the day I went with these scrumptious green velvet napkins. The texture of the velvet is gorgeous and just screams regency to me&#8230; luxury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And since we&#8217;re adding in another color (that Featherington green!) we now need to tie that back together. A white table cloth and pink cake stand for a bit of elevation. The accompanying teapot, sugar and creamer for the center of the table (it is Bridgerton after all!).
